• are registered with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency;
• are eligible to provide Medicare rebated services (provisional psychologists excluded). Some are further endorsed by the Psychology Board of Australia and Medicare to provide services as a Clinical Psychologist;
• are covered by Professional Indemnity/Malpractice insurance which is compliant with standards set by the Psychology Board of Australia;
• have completed an undergraduate degree in psychology, and either hold or are completing a post-graduate degree (Masters, DPsych or PhD degree) in clinical psychology or closely allied psychology discipline, or have completed a Psychology Internship which meets the requirements of the Psychology Board of Australia.
