PsychSessions clinicians provide support and aim to help individuals struggling with various mental health conditions by assisting them to build insight, facilitate change, and manage symptoms, all conveniently provided via telehealth.

At PsychSessions, all psychologists and clinical psychologists have similar training in:

  • Depression
  • Anxiety (including generalized anxiety, panic attacks, post-traumatic-stress disorder, and obsessive compulsive disorder)
  • Social and Specific Phobias

In addition, some psychologists and clinical psychologists have special interest, training and experience in:

  • Sleep Problems (including insomnia and advanced or delayed sleep)
  • Eating Disorders (including anorexia nervosa, bulimia nervosa, and binge eating disorder)
  • Motivation / Compliance Problems (including effectively engaging with life, lifestyle habits such as exercise and regular healthy eating, medication adherence, and adjusting to health devices such as CPAP machines)
  • Post-Natal Depression
  • Anger Management
  • Chronic Pain
  • Adjustment Problems (including loss of a relationship, job, bereavement, chronic injury or illness, or role changes such as parenthood or marriage)

PsychSessions clinicians use a variety of evidence-based individual therapies, including:

  • Cognitive Behaviour Therapy (CBT)
  • Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT)
  • Schema Therapy
  • Interpersonal Therapy (IPT)
  • Motivational Interviewing
  • Empathetic Counselling
